What do we offer?

Small group classes that combine physical therapy expertise, current research recommendations, and community support — so every woman feels confident, safe, and strong.

Heart & Muscle Lab
Cardiovascular classes are 50 minutes, with warm up and cool down centered on high intensity cardio bursts followed by weight training. This combination will focus on heart, muscle, and bone health. This vigorous intensity class fills the weekly requirement set by American Heart Association.

A first of its kind fitness program specifically for women in perimenopause, menopause, and beyond. These intimate classes are research-informed optimizing function and strength, reducing risk of future issues, and optimizing longevity.

Second Spring Method classes counter menopausal changes by:

  • Preserving lean muscle and functional strength

  • Supporting bone health and reducing fracture risk

  • Improving metabolism and body composition

  • Enhancing cardiovascular function and endurance

  • Optimizing balance, mobility, and fall prevention

Strength Lab
50-minute circuit using a combination of free weights, bands, weight racks, and cables. You’ll be doing sets of repetitions and your progress will be re-evaluated every 6-8 weeks. Recommended 2-4 times per week.

I appreciate the small class environment, which allows for modifications and position corrections from the instructors. I always leave feeling strong!

I love having a fitness program designed specifically for older women... thoughtful and accessible circuits, already feeling stronger just a few weeks in!
— Stephanie Welter-Krause
As a perimenopausal human who wants to age well, I’ve been really needing to find a way to strengthen these muscles to support my bones. This is not only an accessible and effective class, it’s also incredibly supportive.
